Yerlan Battakov appointed First Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan

By the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Battakov was appointed First Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the Press Service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Yerlan Battakov was born on Oct. 9, 1969 in Karaganda. He graduated from the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute and Republican Intersectoral Institute for Advanced Professional Studies of the State Statistics Committee and the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He began his career in 1992 as a trainee researcher at the Department of Technology of Building Materials and Products of the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute.

In 1995-1996, he was Chief Specialist, Deputy General Director for Investments of IPF Alatau Invest.

In 1996, he was a specialist, Head of the Department for Licensing Professional Activities at the securities market of the Securities Market Regulation Department of the National Securities Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 1996-2007, he was chief specialist, Head of Division, Head of Department, Financial Director of Food Contract Corporation JSC.

In 2007-2012, he was Head of the Financial and Analytical Sector of the Department for Planning and Financing Budget Programs, Head of the Department for Planning and Financing Budget Programs of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2012-2019, he was Deputy, First Deputy Manager of the Affairs of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since March 2019, he has been Manager of the Presidential Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan
