Talgat Satiev resigns as Chairman of Geology Committee of Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources

By order of the Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Talgat Satiev was dismissed as Chairman of the Committee of Geology Committee of Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the Press Service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Talgat Satiev was born on June 7, 1973, in East Kazakhstan region.

He graduated from Semipalatinsk Geological Exploration Technical School and Kazakh National Technical University named after Satpayev.

He began his career in 1992 as a maintenance worker at a landfill in Semey. He worked in various positions in the Semipalatinsk Inspectorate for the Protection and Use of Subsoil of the Vostkaznedra State Institution in Semey.

In different years, he worked as a chief specialist-inspector, head of Semey regional inspection of geology and subsoil use of the state institution, Deputy Head, Head of the Department of Geology at Vostkaznedra, Ust-Kamenogorsk.

In 2014, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Geology and Subsoil Use of the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan, then Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Geology and Subsoil Use of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Geology of the Ministry of Environment, Geology and Natural Resources.

From 2021 to the present, Satiev has worked as chairman of the Geology Committee of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
