Askar Mamin instructs to complete reconstruction of Altyn Orda traffic intersection in October 2021

As part of his working trip to Almaty, Prime Minister Askar Mamin got acquainted with the progress of reconstruction of section 16-19 km of the Almaty - Bishkek highway — a transport interchange near the Altyn Orda market.

The project provides for the expansion of the site from 4 to 10 lanes with the reconstruction of utilities, the construction of the main highway overpass, a U-turn overpass of the "Horseshoe" type, a bridge across the river Aksai, as well as overground pedestrian crossings.

The Head of Government instructed to increase the pace of work and complete them in October 2021, ensuring all quality standards.

“The transport interchange must be put into operation in November 2021. The project will improve transport communication between the city of Almaty and the Almaty region,” Mamin said.
