Today, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yeraly Tugzhanov, visited the capital's first exhibition-fair of children's goods “Kids EXPO Balalar Alemi”. On the instructions of the Prime Minister, Alikhan Smailov, the Ministry of Trade together with the Atameken NCE and regional akimats should solve the issues of price retention for stationery, satchels, shoes and other school supplies with major shopping centers and markets.  For this purpose, school fairs with reduced prices will be organized in regional and district centers, Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, as well as departure of school booths to distant villages. The first of them takes place on the site of the International Exhibition Center EXPO. During his visit, Tugzhanov became acquainted with the range and cost of goods presented at the fair.

“Kids EXPO Balalar Alemi” is the first major project, which brought together representatives of the book, stationery, textile, educational and entertainment industries, goods and services for children and their parents in one place. Here about 100 participants from among domestic producers, companies and large brands will sell their products within 5 days.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that such fairs are very convenient for parents to prepare their children for the coming school year and noted that the presented range of goods is sold at an affordable price.

About 30 companies offer their products at discounted prices of up to -30%. Their booths are marked with a special sign.

At the fair you can buy not only school and children's products, but also spend interesting leisure time with special zones and entertainment for children. The plan is to hold 18 information, 22 cultural and 22 sporting events and 20 ART workshops. The total number of events is more than 80.

For two days of the exhibition-fair of children's goods “Kids EXPO Balalar Alemi” was visited by more than 20 thousand people. The organizers plan to hold fair on annual basis. 

During familiarization with the exhibition Yeraly Tugzhanov instructed state bodies to organize fairs of this format in all regions.
