The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov made an appeal to all investors. He voiced his statement at the Government session.

"Today, many states of the world are aimed at the inflow of investments. Kazakhstan is not an exception! We are interested in mutually beneficial co-operation with domestic and foreign businesses. We are continuously striving to create the most favourable conditions for the inflow of long-term investments.

I would like to assure you that the Government of Kazakhstan guarantees assistance to every major investment project aimed at opening modern high-end production facilities, advanced development of information technologies, creation of innovative enterprises contributing to the dynamic progress of our country.

The Government will provide investors with unhindered access to resources, infrastructure and advisory support, and assistance in marketing products.

I assure you: you will be protected from any pressure from government and law enforcement agencies. 

Moreover, you will find a reliable and predictable partner in the face of the Government. An investment headquarters is already in place to address these issues. At the end of last year, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev gave it special powers.

We intend to implement other initiatives to increase the inflow of domestic and foreign investment. Among them are the application of fundamentally new approaches and incentives for investors in priority sectors of the economy, tax preferences, elimination of bureaucracy and unnecessary requirements for business.

I am convinced that by joint efforts we will be able to achieve significant success in the growth of Kazakhstan's economy and ensure mutually beneficial co-operation," Olzhas Bektenov said.
