By decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Talgat Momyshev was appointed Vice Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Talgat Momyshev was born in 1968 in the Akmola region.
He graduated from Zhambyl Irrigation and Construction Institute, Almaty Institute of Economics and Statistics.
He has degrees in Civil Engineering, Accounting and Economics.
In 1994-1996, he was Executive Director of the Kazakh-Turkish joint venture.
In 1997-1998, he was Deputy Director for State Supervision of the Zhambyl Center for Standardization and Metrology.
Over the years he worked in private companies.
In 1998-1999, he was senior assistant of the akim's apparatus of Zhambyl region.
In 1999-2000, he was Chair of the Zhambyl Regional Committee for Investments and Wind Farm.
In 2000, he was head of the Almaty branch of the RSE Metrology, the first deputy director of the JSC National Accreditation Center.
In 2000-2005, he was Head of the Production Department in Astana, JSC National Center for Expertise and Certification.
In 2005-2010, he was Deputy Chair of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
In 2010-2014, he was Chair of the Committee for State Inspection in the Oil and Gas Complex of the Ministry of Oil and Gas.
In 2014-2016, he was Chair of the Committee for Environmental Regulation, Control and State Inspection in the Oil and Gas Complex of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2016-2018, he was State Inspector of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2018-2019, he was Deputy Akim of Zhambyl region.
In 2019-2021, he was Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From January 2021 to the present, he has been the chief of staff of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
