Zhaslan Madiyev to leave position of First Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry

By decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madiyev Zhaslan  was dismissed from the post of First Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan from September 30. This was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Zhaslan Madiyev was born in 1983 in Almaty. He graduated from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Columbia University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

He began his career in 2004 as a specialist of the International Financial Institutions Division of the International Relations Department of Alliance Bank JSC.

In 2007-2018, he worked in the structures of companies Kazyna Sustainable Development Fund, Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Kazyna Capital Management, Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC.

In 2019-2020, he was Vice Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2020-2022, he was Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From January 2022 to the present time, he has been the First Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
