Heating season issues discussed by Kazakhstan Government

The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Roman Sklyar, conducted a conference call on the heating season 2022-2023.

Deputy Ministers of Energy Zhandos Nurmagambetov, of Industry and Infrastructural Development Yerkebulan Daulbayev, Deputy Akims of North Kazakhstan, Akmola, East Kazakhstan and Turkestan regions reported on the ongoing work.

The current autumn-winter period has started in all regions and is proceeding stably. The country's power plants have repaired 5 power units, 42 boilers and 31 turbines; 4.3 mln tons of coal and 88 thousand tons of fuel oil were accumulated, which meets the norms. The social infrastructure and dwelling houses are generally prepared for winter. A reserve of fuel at autonomous boiler stations has been installed.

Summing up the meeting Roman Sklyar instructed akimats to work on reducing accounts receivable for utility services and energy sources for the supplied fuel.

Also, the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development together with NC KTZ JSC should ensure stable delivery of fuel to energy sources in the southern regions.
