Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov held a conversation with Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Hidayat oglu Asadov.

Ali Asadov congratulated Alikhan Smailov on his appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Asadov expressed deep condolences to the families of those killed as a result of the aggression of destructive forces, as well as support for the people of Kazakhstan at such a difficult moment for the country.

“Azerbaijan is a reliable strategic partner of Kazakhstan. A constructive political dialogue and fruitful interaction has been established between our countries in a wide range of bilateral relations. We are determined to expand and deepen mutually beneficial trade and economic ties,” Smailov said.

Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov invited the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov to visit Azerbaijan at a convenient time for him.

Azerbaijan is an important trade and economic partner of Kazakhstan. According to the results of 10 months of 2021, the volume of mutual trade amounted to $261 million, which is three times more than the figure for the same period in 2020 and significantly exceeds the pre-pandemic level of 2019.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
