By Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sholpan Karinova was appointed First Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the Press Service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Sholpan Karinova was born in 1972 in the Akmola region.
She graduated from the Ualikhanov Kokshetau Pedagogical Institute, Omsk State Pedagogical University.
She began her career in 1994 as a teacher in a rural school.
In 1998-1999, she was a teacher of Russian language and literature.
In 1999-2000, she was a teacher of the Kazakh language in Russian classes. In 2000-2002, she was Deputy Principal for Teaching and Education.
In 2002-2003, she was engaged in teaching and translation activities at the Kokshetau Medical College.
In 2003-2004, she was a methodologist; Acting Head of Education of the Department of Education and Sports of the Taiynshin district, North Kazakhstan region.
In 2004-2005, she was a principal of the secondary school No. 5, Taiynshin district, North Kazakhstan region.
In 2005-2008, she held senior positions in the Education Department of the Taiynshin district, North Kazakhstan region.
In 2008-2009, she was Head of the structural subdivision of the akim's apparatus of the city of Tayinsha, North Kazakhstan region.
In 2009-2012, she was Deputy Head of the Education Department, North Kazakhstan Region, Petropavlovsk.
In 2012-2013, she was Deputy Akim of Petropavlovsk for Social Sphere.
In 2013-2017, she was acting head; Head of the Education Department of the North Kazakhstan region, Petropavlovsk.
In 2017-2018, she was Director of the Department of Preschool and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2018-2019, she was Deputy Director of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence at Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, Astana.
From August 2019, she has been Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
